About Lizzy

Fifteen years ago, I started as a shampoo girl. Now, I have my own place, regular clients I know by name, and a deep irritation with drugstore products that promise more than they deliver.

How I started

At seventeen, every Saturday, I stood at the washbasin, developing back pain. My boss, Magda, had no patience with clients but plenty with me. She taught me to examine a scalp before even spraying a single product on it.

Ten years later, I opened my own salon. Small, three chairs, one mirror too big for the space. Clients I know by name, and who bring their mothers along.

Somewhere along the way, I stopped selling products I didn't use myself. Initially, that cut into sales — but ultimately, it built trust. That's still how it is.

What I sell

Lizzy's is a small selection of what I use myself and what I've seen clients respond to. Bandido waxes for styling, Finnley's hair care line for hair loss and irritation, Optimaker for damaged hair. No excessive choice, no collaborations I need to explain.

How I advise

Three questions. Not lists of fifty.

  • What is your hair doing now? Frizz, breakage, stickiness, fading color. One sentence is enough.
  • What do you use today? Which products, how often. No judgment, just information.
  • What is your goal? Healthier, fuller, more color-fast. Honest about what's achievable.
